Kale Bread

Welcome to Karen's Kitchen! This blog will be a place for you to take a peek at what's cooking: in my home, school, or maybe just in the back of my mind.

Here's a basic white bread, adapted slightly (thanks for sharing your recipe, Petie!) to include a few of the more varied special ingredients from our pantry. Sorry, but something in me just refuses to strictly follow a recipe!  ;-)

The kale gives it a lovely light green hue, and the graham flour adds just a bit more chew to the texture than you might otherwise expect from white bread.

We enjoyed this bread with a dash of our hand-ground orange salt and olive oil for dipping. The bread was also spectacular dunked into our rich and hearty sardine and tomato soup.

Buon appetito!

(For more details about this recipe, or any of the other creations you see here, please feel free to contact me! Drop an e-mail to Karen@karenricks.com. I look forward to hearing from you!!!)
